We're counting down to #BuildLafayetteLanding !

Materials are already being delivered to the site in preparation for Work Day #1 this Saturday, December 5.
Are YOU excited?
LOCATION & PARKING
Volunteers should plan to park at Madison Street Park, 2881 Madison Street. The check-in area will be located at the park pavilion.
ARRIVAL TIME & CHECK-IN
All volunteers will need to check-in at the Madison Street Park Pavilion upon arrival. There will be a large banner on the pavilion directing people to the check-in area.
  • 8:00 am check-in for morning volunteers  (7:15 am for those working the check-in station)
  • 12:30 pm check-in for afternoon volunteers  (11:45 am for those working the check-in station)
  • During check-in, volunteers will undergo a temperature check, complete a release form, fill out a nametag and receive their official project t-shirt.
  • Please observe social distancing guidelines.
  • After completing the check-in process, volunteers will be directed to report to their assigned workstation.
WHAT TO WEAR & BRING
Volunteers should plan to wear comfortable work clothing suitable for outdoors and closed-toe shoes. You'll be on a construction work-site, so things could get dirty!
  • Official Lafayette Landing t-shirts should be worn during your volunteer shift. We're expecting chilly weather, so feel free to layer long sleeves underneath. If you're volunteering more than one day, please wash & wear it again!
  • Volunteers are encouraged to bring and wear work gloves and a mask.
  • We will have disposable masks available.
GET SOCIAL!
We want to spread the word and share the fun for this awesome community project. We encourage our volunteers to snap photos, selfies and videos to post on your social media.   • Lunches will be available for full-day volunteers

  • Restrooms will be available at Madison Street Park

GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION
Make plans to attend the Grand Opening of Lafayette Landing!
Thursday, December 10 at 3:30 pm. There will be a ribbon cutting, live music, refreshments and food trucks available as we unveil this new community space. Invite a friend!
