Lafayette Landing - Volunteer Information!

VOLUNTEER NEWS 11.23.20

We're so happy you've signed up as a volunteer to help with the Lafayette Landing pocket park project. Thank you! Read on for the information you need to know.

LOCATION & PARKING
Volunteers should plan to park at Madison Street Park, 2881 Madison Street.

CHECK-IN
All volunteers will need to check-in at the Madison Street Park Pavilion upon arrival.

8:00 am check-in for morning volunteers
12:30 pm check-in for afternoon volunteers
During check-in, volunteers will undergo a temperature check, complete a release form, fill out a nametag and receive their official project t-shirt.
After completing the check-in process, volunteers will be directed to report to their assigned workstation.

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING
Volunteers should plan to wear comfortable work clothing suitable for outdoors and closed-toe shoes. You'll be on a construction work-site, so things could get dirty! Official Lafayette Landing t-shirts should be worn during your volunteer shift. Volunteers are encouraged to bring and wear work gloves and a mask.

WE WILL PROVIDE

Bottled water and snacks
Lunches will be available for full-day volunteers
Hand sanitizer
First aid supplies
Restrooms will be available at Madison Street Park
A good time!
